What once was a feisty fixture between the two best teams in England, is now a fixture between two teams trying to rebuild their squad to where they used to be. It is still regarded as a great clash when these two sides meet, and hopefully, both teams will be all out for the win as both need to start picking up points.

United’s home form in the league this season has seen them pick up one point from three games. Winless in their first three home games hasn’t been seen at Old Trafford since the 1972/73 season.

However, they did get a great result here in midweek, beating current Bundesliga leaders Red Bull Leipzig 5-0, in what was a very surprising result. This should give the team confidence coming into this one against an Arsenal team that rarely picks up wins against the big hitters in the league.

Other than Alex Telles¹, United look to be at full strength, and it gives Ole a lot to think about ahead of the game as to who should start, considering there were changes for the Champions League game.

I can see this as a game that both sides come into with the mindset that they can’t afford to lose.

Of course, both will want to win and I lean towards United winning the game, but Arsenal can’t lose for the third game in a row and will be doing everything possible to do so.

I can see it being scrappy with maybe one bit of quality to separate the sides. This bet has landed in the last three games between the two teams², and it also landed last weekend for both teams. United have to start winning home games, but it’s a tough fixture as Arsenal’s form has to improve here and I’m sure they’ll take a point if they have to.

Both defenses haven’t been the best, but it could come down to whoever makes the least mistakes at the back, or whichever player steps up and wants to produce something special to win it for their team.
