This game is the biggest in the English top-flight in terms of rivalry, and there\u2019ll be that little extra added this Sunday when both teams take to the pitch, as they currently fight it out at the top of the league. A game that is sure to be unmissable.<\/p>\n

It\u2019d be safe to say that Liverpool isn\u2019t in the best of form coming into this one, but the form doesn\u2019t matter when it comes to games with your rivals.<\/p>\n
With no win from their last three games in the league, this game against Man Utd could be exactly what they need to set things right. The form of Liverpool has seen Man Utd take their spot at the top of the league, but there\u2019s still such a long way to go until the end of the season.<\/p>\n
Liverpool is suffering from a lack of central defenders, and it shows. It isn\u2019t just Virgil van Dijk that they\u2019re missing, but Joe Gomez and even Joel Matip also.<\/p>\n
Injuries have plagued the side this season especially at the back, but they\u2019ve done exceptionally well for most of the season to be where they are. Things are starting to slow down recently though, with far too many draws against teams they should comfortably beat, and the talent they have going forward has to provide more and help the team get back to winning ways.<\/p>\n
This could be the game that they need to give them the boost to kick on and find their form again, or they could show up nervous for this one, according to Liverpool legend Graeme Souness, who believes Liverpool still have enough to win the game. Either way, the game will surely have drama as it normally does.<\/p>\n

Man Utd has surprised everyone in the last month or so, and they deserve a lot of credit. A team that seemed in disarray not too long ago now finds themselves top of the EPL, which is a fantastic feat.<\/p>\n
The last time Man Utd were top of the league, Sir Alex Ferguson was still in charge, so it\u2019s been a long time coming and a welcome sign for all United fans to see their club back on top. At least for the time being. I don\u2019t believe Man Utd will win the league, and I don\u2019t think a lot of people do either, but they\u2019re certainly part of the title challenge now.<\/p>\n
They probably fancy their chances here on Sunday a lot more than they have in recent years, and that\u2019s how it should be. They should feel as though they can win this game, and they certainly have the attacking options that can hurt a weakened defensive Liverpool side.<\/p>\n
In December, Ole was the favorite to be the first manager to be sacked, and now he finds his side top of the league heading into a very important fixture.<\/p>\n
It\u2019s been some turn around from the ex-player who has found a group of players that he can trust, and they\u2019ve gone from strength to strength in recent weeks proving that they can compete at the highest level with this side they have.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s a game that must have goals, especially because I feel going forward both teams are better than they are defensively at the moment. The world-class options that either side have should cause each defense a lot of issues, and the game will be played at an intense speed as the pace is on both sides.<\/p>\n
There will be a lot of fast counter attacking, and the goals should come, as Man Utd have conceded the most goals out of the top ten teams in the league, despite sitting top while Liverpool are also very prone to conceding especially due to their central defensive frailties at the minute.<\/p>\n
Liverpool are a team that plays one way, and it\u2019s very attacking, while United could punish them on the break. A game that is sure to be entertaining for the neutral, and stressful for the fans of either club.<\/p>\n
