Manchester United and Chelsea is the pick of the bunch on Saturday as it looks to be a tasty affair between two sides that have had their struggles.

Arsenal and Leicester is always an entertaining game, and they will lock horns on Sunday with The Gunners’ looking to keep their amazing home form going.

Tottenham travels to Burnley on Monday night to end the week’s games and should be looking for all three points against an out of form Burnley.

Manchester United vs Chelsea – Old Trafford

Sat 10/17 12:30 PM

United should come into this one with confidence, after back-to-back wins. Ole has had a great response from his team after the 6-1 hammering to Tottenham.

Two away wins, one at Newcastle and the other in the Champions League against a very strong PSG side will no doubt push this team forward. Captain Harry Maguire should be back in the team after missing through injury, but Axel Tuanzebe who filled in midweek looked solid against PSG and probably doesn’t deserve to lose his place. It was a great performance from them as they kept Mbappe and Neymar quiet for most of the night, with De Gea pulling off some good saves and looking comfortable again.

Man Utd should now be looking at this game as one they could take all three points from.

Chelsea will be happy they kept a clean sheet at home against Sevilla, after conceding three at the weekend against Southampton. With back to back draws though, it means that this team has to start impressing after the amount of money that was spent during the transfer window.

Thiago Silva brings a sense of calm to the backline and should start here. It’ll be interesting to see who starts in goal as Kepa was at fault for a couple of goals again last weekend, while Mendy started in the Champions League.

Werner and Havertz finally got off the mark in the EPL with goals against Southampton and should be looking to add here with United’s shaky defense.

Prediction
Asian Total: Over 3.25 goals

Man Utd has scored 9 goals and conceded 12 in 4 games, while Chelsea has scored 13 and conceded 9 in their 5 games in the EPL. It likely means that this game will have goals, or at least the stats say it should.

The attacking talent that both teams have going forward, together with how bad some of the defending has been and the goalkeeping mistakes, not to mention the number of penalties that Man Utd seem to get, does likely equal goals.

So that is what I will go for here.

Arsenal vs Leicester – Emirates Stadium

Sunday 10/25 3:15 PM

Both teams sit side by side in the league, winning 3 and losing 2 of their games so far, and both are coming off 1-0 defeats last weekend followed by wins in the Europa League.

Arsenal has been a different team under Arteta and seems to be only improving, despite their defeat to Man City last week. Also, Arsenal is unbeaten at home since February and should be looking to take all three points here, especially if Leicester’s Jamie Vardy is to miss the game due to injury.

Arsenal’s top goalscorer last season Aubameyang has only netted once in the league so far, and he himself will be looking to improve those stats.

Leicester have had back to back defeats after three straight wins, with both their losses coming at home against sides that they would comfortably beat last season. West Ham and Aston Villa managed to keep a clean sheet against Brendan Rodgers’ side, and there must be improved quickly.

The ever-reliable Jamie Vardy missed the Europa League win on Thursday due to injury, but it’s possible he could be fit to face Arsenal¹. Leicester will be hoping so, as they don’t have enough quality that they can replace his goals with.

Prediction
Arsenal To Win

Arsenal has a great home record² under Mikel Arteta, and an even better one whenever they play Leicester at home.

Leicester is a team that rarely comes to the Emirates and takes points. In fact, they haven’t beaten Arsenal at home.

With those stats, it seems like a good bet given the short odds on Arsenal to win. I was tempted to go for Arsenal and Both Teams to Score and would have if I knew Vardy was starting, but if he doesn’t, Leicester will struggle to get anything from the game, and he likely won’t play the full 90 minutes anyway.

Burnley vs Tottenham – Turf Moor

Monday 10/26 4:00 PM

Burnley picked up their first points of the season at the weekend with a goalless draw against West Brom.

After three straight defeats, it hasn’t been a good start to the season for Sean Dyche and his team, and although it’s early, they don’t look like their usual hard to beat selves. They look like a team that will struggle this season to win games, and they’re in for a very long season ahead.

No player in the squad has scored more than one goal so far, and the style of play isn’t fun to watch. Burnley lacks exciting players that can change games, and this one should be an away win.

Tottenham, on the other hand, is scoring bags of goals, but also conceding quite a few. After being 3-0 up against West Ham, Spurs then conceded 3 as West Ham got an unlikely point from the game. A game that Tottenham should have had wrapped up.

We got our first glimpse of Gareth Bale last weekend, who could play some part here. The in-form duo of Son and Kane will be back after Son only played 30 minutes during the

European fixture midweek, helping himself to yet another goal, while Kane was rested.

Prediction
Heung-Min Son

The top goalscorer in the league so far has scored in his last three runs³, so why not make it four? Against what is a very poor Burnley side at the moment, Tottenham could run away with this one. The ever-energetic Son has had his shooting boots on since the start of the season, and there’s absolutely no reason for him not to find the back of the net here.
